Sam  Duckor-Jones amongst his parishioners - Papier Mache and paint caricatures of humans who might frequent the church. Sam is a white man with a large beard wearing a straw hat with fake flowers, and the image is full of bright colours.

Gloria of Greymouth is a Public Sculpture, a Temple of Silliness, a Centre for Playfulness, an Ode to Camp.  Gloria is a chapel, a venue, a club.  Gloria is my art project.  Gloria is my home. 

Formerly Saint Andrews Anglican Church, built 1939, consecrated 1942, deconsecrated 2018, rezoned residential 2010 & reconsecrated as Gloria of Greymouth 2021 when I moved in.   

Gloria is situated in Blaketown, a seaside suburb of Māwhera/Greymouth, the largest town (pop. 8500) on Te Tai Poutini/the West Coast of Te Waipounamu/the South Island of Aotearoa/New Zealand.
